The
Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Las Vegas for its
latest card, which is now set after the
UFC Fight Night 232 weigh-ins took place.
Headlining the 14-fight card is an intriguing battle between
Brendan
Allen and Paul Craig.
Both middleweight fighters successfully made weight for the
five-round fight. As for the rest of the card, two fighters came in
heavy. Both Lucas
Alexander and Rafael
Estevam were both two pounds over for their fights against
Jeka
Saragih and Charles
Johnson, respectively. Meanwhile, Ailin Perez
initially checked in half a pound over for her fight against
Lucie
Pudilova, but she returned to make 136 pounds with extra time.
Alexander and Estevam were fined as a result.

This marks the first UFC main event for Allen (22-5), who is riding
a five-fight win streak. “All In” is coming off three straight
rear-naked choke submission victories, proving he’s a danger on the
ground. The 27-year-old will look to keep his momentum going
against his toughest test yet and officially weighed 186 pounds on
the dot.
This is also the first headlining bout for Craig (17-6-1), who has
been a UFC mainstay since 2016. The middleweight contender recently
bounced back from back-to-back defeats to Volkan
Oezdemir and Johnny
Walker with a TKO win over Andre Muniz. “Bearjew” will look to show that he still has more left in the tank
at 35 years of age. The Scottish fighter stepped on the scale at
186 pounds.
UFC Fight Night 232 will stream in its entirety on ESPN+ on
Saturday. Prelims begin at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT, while the main
card starts at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.
