Boleyan certainly looks fit for primetime.
The undefeated Armenian once again handled his business with
clinical precision under the One
Championship banner, as he disposed of Baatarchuluun
Gantogtokh with a guillotine choke in the first round of their
ONE Friday Fights 37 bantamweight feature on Friday at Lumpinee
Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Gantogtokh (5-2, 0-1 ONE)
conceded defeat 2:23 into Round 1.

Boleyan (8-0, 2-0 ONE) dragged the Mongolian to the canvas from the
clinch inside the first minute, shifted to half guard and got busy
with ground-and-pound. Gantogtokh left his neck exposed in a bid to
scramble to his feet—a mistake the 27-year-old would soon regret.
Boleyan bit down on a standing guillotine choke, wrapped his
adversary in full guard as they collapsed to the mat and let his
squeeze do the rest.
The promising Boleyan, 24, has submitted all eight of his
opponents, six of them in the first round.
Meanwhile, Team Lakay’s Carlo
Bumina-ang outgrappled Denis
Andreev to a split decision in a three-round bantamweight
attraction. Two of the three ringside judges scored it for
Bumina-ang (2-0, 2-0 ONE), as the 5-foot-5 Filipino powerhouse took
another step forward in his development.
Andreev (0-1, 0-1 ONE) shined on the feet, as he connected in
multi-punch bursts, snuck in left hooks with expert timing and
battered the body with knee strikes. It was not enough to
counteract the efforts of his determined opponent. Bumina-ang set
the tone with a dominant first round, where he executed a takedown
inside the first minute, applied his ground-and-pound with elbows
and forearm strikes, scrambled to the back and pursued a rear-naked
choke. He held his own in the standup exchanges, as well, relying
on rear-leg front kicks to the midsection and even connecting with
a spinning backfist at one point.
Further down the card, repeated takedowns and a few near-miss
submissions carried Komronbek
Oritkov to a unanimous decision over Percival
Oumo Mwambi in a three-round catchweight clash at 130 pounds.
All three members of the judiciary gave Komronbek (1-0, 1-0 ONE)
the nod.
Mwambi (0-1, 0-1 ONE) held a decided advantage in the standup
department but spent far too much time an energy playing defense.
Oritkov threatened the Kenya-born Australian with a guillotine
choke and two armbars in the middle stanza but did his best work in
Round 3. There, he struck for multiple takedowns, shrugged off a
few elbows from his counterpart and progressed to the back on two
occasions.
Finally, Antar Kacem
leaned on clean multi-punch combinations and a late knockdown to
claim a unanimous decision over Rafi Bohic
in their tactical three-round bantamweight muay thai main event.
All three ringside judges submitted scorecards in favor of the
Belarusian.
Bohic called upon front kicks to the body and kicks to the lead
leg, along with elbows and knees in the clinch, but could not keep
his determined counterpart at bay. Kacem cut loose in two-, three-
and four-punch bursts while answering with occasional low kicks of
his own. He sat down Bohic with a left hook in the third round,
kept himself out of harm’s way and short circuited any thoughts of
a potential rally.
