One
Championship
put on its first combat sports event of 2023 with

One on Prime Video 6
, which featured three title fights.

The main event for the featherweight kickboxing championship saw
defending titleholder Superbon Singha Mawynn take on grand prix
winner Chingiz
Allazov
. It was Allazov that set the pace early and showed he
was here to fight by keeping up constant pressure. The second round
would see Allazov
knock down Mawynn twice with heavy punches and then destroy the
champion with a clean overhand right
. The official end came at
1:03 of Round 2.

The co-main event was a flyweight kickboxing bout between Superlek
Kiatmookao and Daniel
Puertas
for the vacant title. While it was Puertas pushing the
action forward early, Kiatmookao was able to land stunning knees to
the body as his opponent stepped in. Puertas continued eating leg
kicks but never failed to move forward and Kiatmookao was visibly
tired at the end of Round 2. However, Kiatmookao would show renewed
vigor in the third round and badly hurt Puertas with punches, which
he followed up with precise knees and powerful head kicks. Over the
championship rounds, Kiatmookao would slow down a bit but continue
landing heavy kicks to the body and enough sharp punches to secure
a unanimous decision victory.

Mikey Musumeci successfully defended his flyweight submission
grappling world championship against Gantumur Bayanduuren. The
American pulled guard early in the 10-minute round and would
eventually start working on a kneebar. Bayanduuren would defend
well, although both men would eventually reach a stalemate with
both working on the other’s leg to no avail. The match would end
with Musumeci taking the back and securing a unanimous decision
win.

The final mixed martial arts fight was contested at a 215-pound
catchweight between Aung La N
Sang
and Gilberto
Galvao
. It was N Sang (29-13, 1 NC) that immediately wobbled
Galvao (30-8-1) with an uppercut just seconds into the first round.
While the Brazilian attempted to grapple, N Sang cut his opponent
with elbows and then sent him to the canvas.
A series of punches would end the fight with “The Burmese Python”
picking up a TKO win
at 1:29 of Round 1.

In 136.5-pound catchweight kickboxing action, Rodtang
Jitmuangnon
took on Jiduo Yibu. It was Jitmuangnon that
immediately pressed the action and started landing on Yibu to both
the head and body repeatedly. The punishment continued in the
second frame as Yibu’s face was bloodied. Fully in control,
Jitmuangnon showboated his way to a unanimous decision victory.

In a last-minute strawweight kickboxing match, fan-favorite
Nong
Stamp
faced Ann
Jaroonsak
. Both women came out swinging but it was the reach
advantage of “Supergirl” that was the difference early on. The
action stayed steady in the second frame as “Stamp Fairtex” was
pushed against the cage while both women found space to connect
with punches and kicks, although it was Jaroonsak that had the
edge. Despite the similarly paced third round, it was “Stamp
Fairtex” that received the split-decision win.

Garry
Tonon
made quick work of Jonathan
Nunez
. After using a kimura on the feet to secure a takedown,
Tonon (7-1)
kept twisting the arm of Nunez (7-3) until the fighter tapped
.
The submission officially came just 1:53 into Round 1.

The first fight of the card was a 150-pound catchweight contest
between Jae Woong
Kim
and Shoko Sato. A
tepid first round saw both men punished with a yellow card and a
10-percent purse reduction. Round 2 was much more action-packed
with Sato (34-15-2, 1 NC) bloodying the nose of Kim (13-8) due to
precision punches that slipped past the Korean fighter’s guard. The
damage would continue in the third round with Kim’s eye becoming
badly damaged by the end. After three rounds, it was Sato that was
awarded a unanimous decision victory.
