The event will be headlined by a bantamweight championship clash
between reigning title holder Taneisha
Tennant and Talita
Bernardo, while Kristina
Williams and Ketlen
Souza will vie for the vacant flyweight crown in the co-main
event. The all-female promotion announced the bookings on
Tuesday.
Invicta FC 51 takes place at Reelworks Denver in Denver, Colo., and
airs on AXS TV and the Invicta FC YouTube channel beginning at 9
p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Five other bouts were also announced for the
card: Serena
DeJesus vs. Olga Rubin
at bantamweight; Claire
Guthrie vs. Auttumn
Norton at bantamweight; Marisa
Messer-Belenchia vs. Elisandra Ferreira at atomweight; Katie Saull
vs. Rayanne Amanda at atomweight and Fatima

Gallardo at strawweight.
A former competitor on Dana White’s Contender Series, Tennant is
4-0 under the Invicta FC banner — including five-round verdicts
over Olga Rubin
and Lisa
Verzosa in title bouts.
Bernardo has won three straight fights following a 1-3 stint in the
UFC. The Brazilian has kicked off her Invicta tenure with
back-to-back submissions of Yana
Gadelha and Katharina
Lehner.
Williams, who went 3-2 under the Bellator MMA banner, enjoyed a 2-0
campaign with in Invicta in 2022, outpointing Fore Hani in March
before submitting Liana
Ferreira Pirosin in July.
Souza, meanwhile, has been victorious in her last four professional
outings. Most recently, she earned a unanimous decision win over
Maiju
Suotama at Invicta FC 49.
