The California-based promotion recently announced that it will hold
an event at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on Feb. 24. No bouts were
announced for the card, which will mark Bellator’s ninth event in
the country.
Bellator held its initial event in Ireland in 2016. Most recently,
Bellator 285 took place at the same venue and saw Benson
Henderson captured a unanimous decision over Peter
Queally in the evening’s lightweight headliner this past
Friday. Afterward, the promotion claimed that the latest event set
an attendance record at the 3Arena.
“Right now it’s a little premature to fight out who will be
fighting next February,” Bellator president Scott Coker said at a
post-fight press conference. “But I think we’ve always delivered
great cards here and we’ll bring back another amazing fight
card.”
