The
Legacy Fighting Alliance featherweight title was on the line at
LFA
133 but only Michael
Stack was eligible to win it after
Jose Mauro do Amaral Delano missed weight by five pounds.
The title fight saw an aggressive start from Stack (7-1), who
didn’t mind taking punches to close the gap against Delano (10-2).
While Stack was able to repeatedly clinch with Delano, the American
was unable to get any meaningful takedowns in the opening rounds.
Delano would come close to submitting the wrestler with a
guillotine choke in Round 3, but Stack would be saved by the bell.
The Brazilian would get a takedown of his own in a dominant Round 4
and cruise through Round 5. After five rounds, the LFA
featherweight title stayed vacant after Delano took a decision with
scores of 50-45, 49-46 and 50-45 in the Brazilian’s favor.

The co-main event saw Haris
Talundzic record the first blemish on the record of Bahatebole
Batebolati. It was a competitive, back-and-forth bout, but
Talundzic (5-0) was one step ahead and able to bring Batebolati
(3-1) to the ground multiple times. Batebolati would be penalized a
point in the second round due to illegal grabbing of Talundzic’s
gloves. After a dominant Round 3, Talundzic received a decision win
with unanimous scores of 30-26 in his favor.
In a matchup of undefeated welterweight prospects, Trey Waters
prevailed against Benjamin
Bennett. Bennett (3-1) didn’t waste time looking for a takedown
in a classic striker versus grappler matchup. Waters (6-0)
valiantly defended the first attempt, but a later takedown would
see him pulled to the floor at the end of the opening frame. “Mr.
Alaska” was able to land cleanly on a slightly fatigued Waters in
Round 2. However, in the final frame, “The Truth”
landed a perfectly-timed knee that knocked out Bennett with just 23
seconds left in the fight.
The first welterweight bout of the night saw Ryan
Charlebois fail a test against Jeremiah
Curtright after landing illegal blows. A clear advantage for
Charlebois (3-1) was in the grappling game and the Elevation Fight
Team member kept taking down his foe. However, a series of elbows
to the back of the head of Curtright (5-3), who was unable to
continue fighting. Due to the illegal blows, Charlebois was given
the first loss of his career via disqualification at 3:15 of Round

Lightweight Jacobi
Jones successfully bounced back from his first professional
defeat against Riley
Wiseman. Jones (4-1) wasted no time looking to engage as he
immediately threw combinations at Wiseman (2-1), who looked to
counter with leg kicks. However, the pace of Jones overwhelmed
Jones, and landed
a knee that caused a huge gash on Wiseman. Due to the cut, the
towel was thrown by Wiseman’s corner and the fight officially
ended at the 2:09 mark of the first round.
The main card opener saw heavyweight prospect Benjamin
Tynan stay undefeated against Trevor
Wallace. While Wallace (4-2) came out aggressive, it left him
wide open for a takedown by Tynan (2-0). “Vanilla Thunder” began
dropping elbows before
taking the back of Wallace and sinking in an arm-triangle
choke. The tap came at 1:33 of Round 1.
