One Championship aired the fourth part of its
pre-recorded “Inside the Matrix” series.
One: Inside the Matrix 4 was headlined by a kickboxing clash
between Aslanbek Zikreev and Wang Junguang. The contenders engaged
in a back-and-forth battle that saw exciting moments from both
sides. As the fight wore on, the Russian fighter appeared sharper
than “Golden Boy,” and two of the three judges rewarded him with
the split decision victory. Zikreev’s triumph over the former title
contender led him to eye a future championship challenge.
In the co-main event, Joseph Lasiri took home a hard-fought split
decision over Rocky Ogden in a muay Thai clash. The pace of “The
Hurricane” kept Ogden guessing for the majority of the bout, and
the Italian fighter turned up the volume and displayed the vastness
of his offensive arsenal in the third stanza. The striking
differential was enough to convince two judges to award him the
win.

The MMA main attraction saw Kwon Won Il
locking horns with Bruno Pucci.
The battle ended inside the first stanza, as “Pretty Boy” easily
staved off Pucci’s early attempts to drag the fight to the canvas.
The South Korean fighter waited for the right moment to target a
vicious liver shot that folded his Brazilian opponent. “Pretty Boy”
finished the job with a few follow-up punches as the referee
stepped in at the 2:00 mark.
Earlier on the card, Ryogo
Takahashi dispatched Yoon Chang
Min in One’s featherweight division with a series of
devastating punches at 2:52 of the second frame. The card opener
saw Maira Mazar
finish Jung Yoon
Choi after a storm of ground-and-pound at 4:26 of the third
round.
