Ever since reports surfaced that Brock
Lesnar
was
no longer under contract
with the WWE, speculation has run
rampant regarding the massive superstar’s next move.

Though Lesnar himself has been quiet, a return to the Ultimate
Fighting Championship has been a popular topic of conversation and
more specifically, a showdown with former light heavyweight
champion Jon Jones.
Jones made it clear he was aware of Lesnar’s free agency when he

directed a tweet
at the former heavyweight king earlier this
week.

While Jones vs. Lesnar is far from becoming a reality, UFC
president Dana White would make the fight if Lesnar wanted to step
into the Octagon again.

“If they both want to fight each other, I’m sure it’s a fight the
fans want to see and it would be a good introduction for Jones into
the heavyweight division,” White told media following the Contender
Series on Tuesday night. “So yeah, if they both wanted to do it, I
would do it.”

Lesnar hasn’t competed in the Las Vegas-based promotion since 2016,
when he defeated Mark Hunt via
unanimous decision at UFC 200. That result was later changed to a
no contest after Lesnar failed multiple drug tests. Lesnar also
briefly flirted with a fight against Daniel
Cormier
when “DC” was UFC heavyweight champ, but that bout fell
apart when he was unable to come to financial terms with the
promotion.

White is currently unsure of Lesnar’s interest in a UFC
comeback.

“I haven’t talked to Brock, no. I haven’t talked to Brock in
probably a year,” White said.

“He’s 43 years old and he’s got a lot of money. I don’t know what
his plans are, how his body feels.”

If Lesnar were to return, he would have to re-enter the USADA
drug-testing pool, so it would take some time to make any type of
fight involving the ex-champ.

“If he calls me and he’s interested in fighting, I would obviously
consider making that fight,” White said. “It wouldn’t be until next
year.”
