It seems that
Brave Combat Federation loves Sweden, and Sweden loves Brave
CF.
According to sources close to the situation, the Bahraini promotion
is going to hold its fourth straight event in the Scandinavian
country on Aug. 24.
Brave CF 40 will be topped a featherweight clash as
up-and-coming Austrian fighter Mochamed
Machaev takes on Shoaib
Yousaf.
In his latest cage appearance, “The Beast” Machaev (9-0) made a
statement by dominating RXF veteran Ciprian
Maris before the doctor halted the bout at the end of Round 2.
Machaev impressed in his promotional debut by taking a unanimous
decision over Matjaz
Vicar at Brave CF 34 in January. Prior to signing with Brave,
he gathered plenty of experience — all victories — in the Czech
promotion XFN.
Yousaf (7-1) is currently riding a five-bout winning streak,
including stoppages in his last four. In his organizational debut
in December, the English fighter submitted Hassan
Talal via rear-naked choke at Brave CF 33. Six of the seven
victories for “The Assassin” have come inside the distance.
Back in March, former Brave featherweight champion Bubba
Jenkins vacated his title after he signed with the
Professional Fighters League. The winner of the Machaev-Yousaf
clash could potentially find themselves in contention for the
throne.
Brave CF’s next event is
Brave CF 39. The Aug. 15 card also taking place in Sweden is
headlined by the welterweight clash between Tahar Hadbi
and
Titan Fighting Championships veteran Giannis
Bachar.
