Undefeated prospect Andre Harrison is ready to lock horns with China’s Jumabieke Tuerxun in the much-anticipated Professional Fighters League inaugural regular season debut. Previously known as World Series of Fighting, PFL 1 will include fighters from six weight classes who will then compete in playoffs and a championship, which includes a $1 million prize.
Ahead of the promotion’s debut season, Harrison tipped the scales at 145.2 pounds, ready to meet Tuerxun (144.8) in the main event. Harrison will look for his 18th professional victory while “The Mad Wolf” will try to redeem a recent loss at the hands of Boris Fedorov.
PFL 1 “Harrison vs. Tuerxun,” which takes place at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, will also feature additional featherweight clashes, including Lance Palmer (145.6) vs. Bekbulat Magomedov (145.2), and a showdown between Steven Siler (145.2) against the undefeated Magomed Idrisov (145).
The event will air live on NBCSN at 9p.m. ET/ 6p.m. PT.
